- Continued support and career guidance for a full year after you graduate
I built this because no one built it for me.
A serious injury put me on the mat. I came to Pilates just to feel like myself again — and somewhere in that recovery, something clicked. This wasn’t only healing me. It was something I could give to other people.
So I got certified. And then I stood in front of my first real client, terrified, holding a certificate that hadn’t actually prepared me to teach a living, breathing body. No mentor to call. No one in my corner. Just me, figuring it out.
I never wanted another woman to feel that alone. So I built the school I needed back then — small rooms, real mentorship, someone who stays with you past the certificate. Today that’s Go Pilates Academy: 600+ graduates in 30+ countries, and the same promise behind every one of them.
When you train with us, you don’t get a certificate and a goodbye. You get us.
Most certifications hand you a certificate — and a goodbye.
The theory’s done, the money’s spent, and no one is there the first time a real client walks in with a real body.
You finish proud, then discover the credential doesn’t meet the standards hiring studios and gyms look for.
A client’s back flares up mid-session and you freeze — because there was never a mentor on the other end of the line.
We built the opposite.
See howYou might be exactly who we built this for.
If you nodded at even two of these — let’s talk.
Book Your Free Call“I worried I’d be the oldest student in the room. Instead I found a welcoming group where age didn’t matter — our passion for learning did. I left inspired.”
Up to 12 students per cohort. We see you.
This isn’t a course you disappear into. Every student gets a personal mentor and live one-on-one coaching — a small room where we know your name, watch you teach, and don’t let you leave until you’re ready.
Take a look inside the studio you’ll be training in.
A room, not a crowd
Every cohort is capped at 12. You’re never a face in the back — you get real attention, real corrections, and real answers to your questions.
Your own personal mentor
Not a group average — a mentor who knows your name, watches you teach, and coaches you one-on-one through the parts you find hard.
Taught, not tested-and-dropped
A mentor watches you teach and corrects you in the room — the hands-on coaching a screen can’t give you.
A journey we walk beside you — start to certified, and beyond.
Knowledge is delivered digitally, on your time. Skill is built live, in the room, on real equipment. Every stage is supported by a person, not a portal.
Choose your track and lock your spot
Pick the track that fits your goals — we help you decide before you commit a cent.
Functional anatomy, taught live
30 live hours of functional anatomy with our lead educator — recorded, so you can revisit any concept.
Study the theory at your own pace
Coursework online, on your schedule — so you arrive at the studio ready to move, not take notes.
Hands-on days in a real studio
Immersive days in our LA studio on professional equipment — where technique becomes muscle memory.
You teach — your mentor has your back
You lead real sessions while your personal mentor watches and corrects you rep by rep, live — the stage other programs skip.
Supervised practice that counts
Teaching and observation hours toward your credential — tracked and supported, never left to you alone.
A fair, transparent exam
Clear standards, retakes without penalty. We’re not here to fail you — we’re here to make you ready.
Graduation isn’t the finish line
You join the Go Pilates Club — a full year of mentor access, workshops, and a global instructor community.
“I wanted a certification employers actually respect — and the confidence to work with real clients. I walked away feeling like a professional, not just someone who passed an exam.”
One clear path — the same structure behind every track.
Every track is built the same way: a shared foundation you complete from home, then focused in-studio days where you actually touch the equipment, then mentored hours you log with our team. Here’s exactly where your hours go.
30 live hours of Functional Anatomy on Zoom (recorded) plus self-paced theory — finished before you ever step into the studio.
The only hands-on part: live repertoire on real equipment in our Studio City space. This is where you learn spring settings, carriage setup, and tactile cueing that can’t be taught over a screen.
Self-practice, observation, and supervised teaching — much of it guided remotely by our instructors, so you don’t need your own equipment to build real teaching hours.
Mat and Reformer run one after another
In the combined and Comprehensive tracks, your in-studio days aren’t scattered — they run as back-to-back modules in a single intensive, about 4.5 hours per day. You build the Mat repertoire first, then move onto the Reformer, and (in Comprehensive) finish with the full apparatus. Each layer builds on the one before it. The final exam is held on a separate day, scheduled per cohort.
“I almost took an online course because it seemed easier. The hands-on corrections completely changed how I understand Pilates — you simply can’t replace that.”
Find the track that matches your goal.
Still deciding is normal — and it’s exactly what your discovery call is for. Here’s the short version.
What a full wrapper looks like next to a weekend course.
Our graduates don’t just certify. They get to work.
Most of our graduates go on to teach — in studios, in their own practices, and with students around the world.
Teach in studios & gyms
Our Mat, Mat + Reformer, and Comprehensive tracks prepare you for the NPCP national exams (NPCP-PMC and NCPT) — the industry-recognized US credentials — so your qualification is taken seriously.
Build your own practice
Private clients, small groups, or your own studio — on your terms, on your schedule, at the rate you set.
Teach online, anywhere
Reach students across the world — exactly like our own global community of instructors in 30+ countries.
Set your own rates
Group classes, privates, or your own studio — in LA, some experienced instructors charge up to $250 a session. (Rates vary widely by experience, setting, and clientele.)
You didn’t come this far to stay on someone else’s pay scale.
Certified Pilates instruction is one of the best-paid teaching careers in fitness — and in Los Angeles, it’s a career where you set your own rates, choose your own hours, and there is no ceiling written by anyone but you.
Hourly and annual figures reflect publicly reported market data for Pilates instructors in Los Angeles (Payscale and ZipRecruiter, 2026); premium session rates reflect what established instructors at high-end Los Angeles studios can command. Monthly figures are simple arithmetic based on those published rates and are shown as illustrations only — they are not a promise, projection, or guarantee of what any individual graduate will earn. Your actual income depends on your experience, hours, rates, and how you build your practice.
“Leaving my family for a few days wasn’t easy, and I almost backed out. Looking back, it was one of the best investments I’ve ever made — the small group meant I was never overlooked.”
We don’t stop at the certificate. We help you get working.
The scariest part isn’t the exam — it’s the silence afterwards. Not knowing how to get your first client, what to charge, or whether a studio will even take you seriously. That’s the part we refuse to leave you alone with. We don’t disappear after graduation.
A credential studios recognize
A clear pathway to the NPCP national exams — NPCP-PMC and NCPT, the credentials US studios and gyms recognize — means your application is taken seriously.
Interview & audition preparation
Most studios ask you to teach a sample class. Your mentor prepares you for exactly that, so you walk in ready instead of hoping.
Guidance on pricing & positioning
What to charge, how to package private sessions, and how to present yourself — the business side nobody teaches you.
A network that opens doors
600+ graduates in 30+ countries, plus a full year in the Go Pilates Club — real people who share openings, advice, and referrals.
The day you certify is the day you join something bigger.
Certification is where most programs wave goodbye. For us, it’s where the Go Pilates Club begins — a full year of mentorship, community, and continued growth after you certify. The difference between having a certificate and having a career.
- A full year of mentor access — for the real questions that come up once you’re teaching
- Advanced workshops, cueing libraries, and class templates
- A global network of 600+ instructors across 30+ countries
