If this is you

You love being home with them.
You also miss being you.

Both things are true, and no one tells you they’re allowed to be. You wouldn’t trade these years. And still — somewhere between the laundry and the nap and the third snack before ten — there’s a quiet thought you don’t say out loud: what about me?

You want something that’s yours. Not instead of them. Alongside them. A skill, an income, a reason to put on real clothes — without becoming the mom who’s never there.

You already love Pilates. You’ve thought more than once, lying on the mat: I could teach this. I’d be good at it.

Then you go home, and the thought goes back in the drawer — because every program you’ve found asks you to leave the house you’re trying to be present in.

“When they’re a little older”

They’re always about to be a little older. That isn’t a scheduling problem — it’s the reason the version of you who teaches never quite arrives.

“I can’t leave them 3 times a week”

Every studio program assumes you can disappear to in-person training. You can’t, and you shouldn’t have to. That’s exactly the problem we built this to solve.

“I’d be doing it all alone”

Most online courses hand you a login and vanish. You’d be watching videos at 9pm, baby monitor beside you, wondering if you’re doing any of it right.

Chen Leibovich, founder
The woman behind this

I built this because I needed it too.

I’m Chen. Before this academy, I ran two Pilates studios and taught hundreds of women in person. I know what it takes to stand in front of a room — and I know how many talented women never get there, because the only path on offer meant leaving their families for a year.

I came to Pilates through my own recovery from injury. It gave me my body back, then it gave me a livelihood, then it gave me a business. I’ve watched it do the same for women in more than thirty countries.

So I built the program I wish had existed: real training, real mentorship, real teaching practice — that a mother can do from her living room in the time she actually has.

Why this one is different

Everyone else asks you
to leave. We don’t.

This is the whole reason the academy exists. The big programs — the studio chains, the classical schools — all run the same way: hundreds of hours, in person, on their schedule, for the better part of a year. Wonderful, if your life has room for it. Most young mothers’ lives don’t.

  • Learn from your living roomThe coursework is yours to do at 6am, at nap time, after bedtime. No commute, no childcare to arrange, no three-evenings-a-week you can’t give.
  • Built around the time you haveNot a second job. The Mat track is about an hour a day; the reformer tracks ask for more. Either way it happens in the pockets of time you already have — while the pasta boils, while she naps, before the house wakes up.
  • A real finish lineMat can be done in ninety days. The reformer tracks carry more hours and take longer — but every track has a date, not “sometime next year.”
  • A credential studios respectOur Mat and Mat + Reformer programs are NPCP Verified — the same bar the expensive in-person schools are measured against. Reformer Only awards a Go Pilates Academy certificate.
Learning Pilates teaching from home
Let’s clear this up first

You don’t have to be the best
one in the room. Really.

Almost every woman who books a call with us says a version of the same thing: I’m not advanced enough yet. Maybe next year, once my practice is stronger.

Here’s what she doesn’t know. The women she’s watching in class — the ones flowing through the hard stuff like it’s nothing — a lot of them built those skills during their training, not before it. That’s what training is for.

You need a working practice and you need to want this. Some of our strongest graduates teach beautifully and still can’t do a full teaser. Teaching is a different skill from performing, and it’s the one we train.

You are never alone in this

“Online” doesn’t mean
on your own. Three people
have your back.

This is the part that surprises every student. You don’t get a login and a good-luck email. From the day you enrol, there are real people whose job is to make sure you finish — and to catch you before you fall behind, not after.

Your mentor

20 one-on-one sessions across your course — a certified instructor who meets you every week, works through your workbook with you live, and knows exactly where you got stuck last time. She adjusts the plan to you, not the other way around.

Your Student Success Manager

The person who keeps your whole journey on track — your schedule, your kit, your milestones, the week the baby was sick and you fell behind. When life happens, she’s the one who helps you find your footing again.

Customer support

A real team, five days a week, for every “quick question” at 10pm. No ticket black holes, no waiting three days. Help is a message away, and it answers like a person.

And the teaching itself happens live, with people: weekly one-on-one mentoring, live online coaching through the second half of the course, live anatomy every two months, and Practice Labs where you teach real bodies and get corrected in the moment — long before your exam.

You’re joining more than a course

You’ll never be doing this by yourself.

From the day you enrol, you step into a private community of women doing exactly what you’re doing — and it doesn’t end at graduation.

While you train

A private group that’s alive every week — motivation to start the week, teaching tips, open Q&A threads, and student spotlights. You’ll ask the “silly” questions and find ten women who had them too.

Live together, monthly

A monthly live Q&A with an instructor from our team, plus group practice sessions where you train alongside other students. You’ll see you’re not the only one growing in real time.

After you graduate

You’ll join the Alumni Network — a community of certified Go Pilates instructors worldwide, with a job board, collaborations, and monthly alumni webinars. You stay part of the family for good.

Want to know if this fits your week?

The fear we hear most

Don’t take our word for it.
Take theirs.

Nearly every graduate tells us the same thing: the part she worried about most before enrolling turned out to be the part that surprised her.

★★★★★
I was honestly skeptical about doing an online Pilates certification. I kept thinking there was no way I’d feel confident enough to teach without being in a classroom. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The weekly mentor sessions completely changed everything. Every question I had was answered, I received personalized feedback, and I never felt like I was figuring things out on my own. By the end of the program, I felt genuinely prepared to teach my first clients.

I work full-time and have two kids, so attending an in-person certification just wasn’t realistic. This program gave me the flexibility I needed without sacrificing quality. The structure kept me accountable, and having a mentor check in every week made all the difference. I never felt like “just another student.”

What impressed me most wasn’t just the curriculum — it was the support. Every time I felt unsure, someone was there to guide me. The Practice Labs helped me build confidence before teaching real people, and that made the transition so much less intimidating.

Before joining, I had looked at so many certification programs that I felt completely overwhelmed. Most of them seemed to offer videos and not much else. This was different. My biggest fear was finishing the course and still not feeling ready to teach. Instead, I graduated feeling excited to start. The mentors genuinely care about your progress, and you can tell they want every student to succeed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I almost chose another online certification because it was cheaper. Looking back, I’m so glad I didn’t. Having real mentors who reviewed my teaching, answered my questions, and helped me improve was worth every penny. It felt like having a personal coach throughout the entire journey.

The other question nobody answers

“But will anyone actually hire me with an online certification?”

Let’s answer it directly, because it’s the real question and you deserve a real answer.

There is no government license for teaching Pilates in the United States. No state board, no exam you’re legally required to pass. What exists instead is industry recognition — and the body that defines it is the NPCP. Our Mat and Mat + Reformer programs are NPCP Verified, and graduates of both are eligible to sit for the NPCP Mat (PMC) certification. Reformer Only awards a Go Pilates Academy certificate and does not carry an NPCP credential — we would rather say that here than let you discover it later.

Here’s the part most people get wrong: the overwhelming majority of American studios don’t hire by brand name.

Go read the listings in your own city right now. Most ask for “a recognized Pilates certification” — and then ask you to teach a class. What gets you hired is whether you can walk into a room, read six different bodies, and run a clean, safe, well-sequenced session.

Which is exactly what you’ll spend 90 days building — and why you’ll teach live, to real people, long before you graduate.

Your future clients don’t care where you studied. They care how confidently you teach — and that’s exactly what we’ll get you ready to do.
Before you assume you can’t

“Don’t I need a studio
full of equipment?

No. And the reformer tracks are far more reachable than most people assume — this is the single biggest thing women get wrong before they call us.

Mat track

Nothing beyond your student kit, which is included. Mat, magic circle, bands, ball — it all arrives in the box. No purchase, no gym membership, no extra fees.

Reformer tracks

You’ll need regular access to a reformer for your practice sessions. That does not mean a studio machine. Home reformers start well below what most people expect — folding models begin in the low hundreds — and plenty of our students simply book studio time instead.

We’ll tell you exactly

Not every home machine is suitable for certification work. Before you enrol, we confirm the minimum specification that works for the course and the exam, and help you find something that fits your space and budget.

Not sure what you’d need? Ask us first.

How we compare

Less time. Less money.
More hand-holding.

The big in-person schools

$4,000–$8,500

Six months to a year. Hundreds of hours in a studio, on their schedule. You arrange childcare three evenings a week and hope you can keep it up. Most people can’t, and don’t finish.

Go Pilates Academy

From $1,935

Mat in as little as ninety days, from your own home — with a mentor, a success manager and a support team the whole way. A finish line you can actually see, at a fraction of the cost.

How it works

Structured like
it matters.

You learn the curriculum on your own schedule — roughly an hour a day on the Mat track, more on the reformer tracks, taken at 6am or after bedtime. That part is flexible on purpose. Everything else is not.

1

Your mentor.
Every week.
Just you.

Not a group call where you’re one of forty faces. A standing weekly session with an instructor who knows your name, remembers what you struggled with last week, and adjusts what happens next accordingly.

If you fall behind, she notices before you do.

2

The Mentorship Workbook

Every student gets a dedicated workbook that you and your mentor fill in together, live, during your sessions. Not homework you submit and never see again — the running record of your training. Your cueing, your corrections, your blind spots, your progress.

By the time you graduate you’re holding the complete map of how you learned to teach.

Nobody else does this
3

Practice Labs:
you teach real people

You cannot learn to teach by watching someone teach. In Practice Labs you run real sessions with real bodies and get corrected in the moment — on your cueing, your pacing, your hands, your room.

Most graduates have taught dozens of live sessions before they ever sit for their exam. That’s why they walk into a first studio interview and don’t freeze.

4

The Flow Method™

Our methodology. Most programs teach you exercises. We teach you transitions — how one movement becomes the next without the class ever stopping.

It’s the difference between a session that feels like a checklist and one that feels like a single continuous piece of work. It’s also, bluntly, what studio owners notice in a demo class.

Real graduates, in their own words — different cities, different starting points, the same turning point.

“I thought becoming an instructor was out of reach.”

I had no background in fitness, and I was afraid I wouldn’t be good enough. The support throughout the program changed that. By graduation I wasn’t just certified — I believed in myself. Today I teach reformer classes at a local studio and I’m building a loyal client base.

O
OliviaPortland, Oregon
“I needed a fresh start after burnout.”

After years in corporate healthcare, I was exhausted. I wanted something meaningful but didn’t know where to begin. This gave me a clear path and real support — I never felt alone. Now I spend my days helping people move, feel stronger, and reconnect with their bodies.

S
StephanieNashville, Tennessee
“I was afraid I’d never feel ready.”

My fear wasn’t passing the course — it was graduating and still feeling unprepared. The Practice Labs and mentor feedback changed that completely. By the end, teaching felt natural instead of scary. Last month I taught my first group class — one of the proudest moments of my life.

D
DanielleMinneapolis, Minnesota
“I wanted more time with my family.”

Working long hours meant I barely saw my kids. Something had to change. The flexibility let me study after bedtime and on weekends. Today I teach Pilates on my own schedule and finally have the work-life balance I’d been searching for.

R
RebeccaRaleigh, North Carolina
“I was looking for more than a side hustle.”

At first I thought Pilates would just be extra income. Instead it became my full-time career. The confidence I gained through the mentorship helped me start teaching immediately after graduating. Less than a year later, it’s my main source of income.

M
MeganSalt Lake City, Utah
“I didn’t think I could learn at my own pace.”

Technology isn’t my strength, so I worried an online program wouldn’t work for me. I was so relieved by how supported I felt — any time I had a question, someone was there. I never felt behind, and today I teach clients of all ages with confidence.

H
HeatherCharleston, South Carolina
“I needed to believe in myself again.”

After becoming a mom, I felt like I’d lost a part of myself. I wanted something that was just mine. This gave me more than a career — it gave me my confidence back. Today I teach three mornings a week while still being there for every school pickup.

C
CourtneyBoise, Idaho
“I turned my passion into my profession.”

Pilates had been my happy place for years. I dreamed of teaching but never thought I was capable. The mentors believed in me before I believed in myself. Now I teach private sessions and group classes, and I love going to work every day.

E
EricaScottsdale, Arizona
“I found something flexible that truly prepared me.”

I needed something that fit around my family — but that would genuinely prepare me to teach. Week after week with my mentor, I built real confidence. I started teaching before I even graduated, and now I’m doing what I love on a schedule that fits my life as a mom.

L
LindyDenver, Colorado
“I almost waited. I’m so glad I didn’t.”

As a mother of two, I almost convinced myself to wait — then took the leap. I studied whenever my schedule allowed, with weekly mentor sessions keeping me moving. I was fully booked within months, and now I have the thriving practice and flexibility I’d always hoped for.

B
BrittanyMiami, Florida
“I built a business on my own terms.”

I dreamed of something bigger than traditional classes. After the program I built my own unique Pilates experience — and today I host Pilates events across Los Angeles, bringing women together through movement, present for my family, doing work I’m passionate about.

K
KellyLos Angeles, California
“I thought I had missed my chance.”

After nearly 20 years in the corporate world, I couldn’t imagine starting over, and every certification felt overwhelming. This changed everything. The mentorship gave me confidence every week, and by graduation I was ready to teach. Today I teach at two local studios and finally have a career that makes me excited to wake up.

M
MelissaColumbus, Ohio
“I needed something that worked around motherhood.”

With three young kids, driving to a studio several times a week wasn’t possible. I studied during nap times and after bedtime. The flexibility made it possible, but the mentors made me successful. Today I teach morning reformer classes while my kids are at school — a career that fits my family instead of competing with it.

A
AshleyTampa, Florida
“I didn’t believe I was good enough.”

I loved Pilates but constantly compared myself to experienced instructors. I almost didn’t enroll because I thought everyone would be better than me. Instead of judged, I felt supported. Every mentor session helped me grow. Now I teach group classes every week and finally feel like I belong in this industry.

S
SamanthaKansas City, Missouri
“I wanted more freedom.”

I was tired of working evenings and weekends and missing time with my family. Pilates had always been my escape, but I never imagined it could be my career. Less than six months after graduating, I left my full-time job. Today I choose my own schedule and have more time with my family than ever.

L
LaurenRichmond, Virginia
“I was scared to teach my first client.”

Watching videos was easy. Actually teaching someone terrified me. The Practice Labs were exactly what I needed — by the time I graduated I’d practiced so many times that my first session felt exciting instead of scary. My first client became a regular, and she’s still with me today.

N
NicoleMilwaukee, Wisconsin
“I wanted a career with purpose.”

I wasn’t looking for another job — I wanted work that genuinely helped people. This gave me the education, support, and confidence to build something meaningful. Every week I see clients move better, feel stronger, and smile more, and knowing I played a part is the most rewarding feeling I’ve ever had.

E
ErinPittsburgh, Pennsylvania
“I almost quit halfway through.”

There were moments when life became overwhelming and I seriously considered giving up. My mentor reminded me why I started, and that encouragement kept me going. Graduating proved to me that I could finish something I once thought impossible. Today I teach with confidence — and remind my clients to never give up on themselves.

C
ChristineSacramento, California
“I never thought this would become my business.”

My original goal was simple: teach one or two classes a week. But after graduating, word spread quickly. Within months my schedule filled up and I was offering private sessions, small-group classes, and wellness workshops. What started as a passion became a business I never imagined I could build.

B
BrookeCharlotte, North Carolina
“For the first time, I chose myself.”

For years I put everyone else first — my family, my job, my responsibilities. Enrolling was the first thing I’d done purely for myself in a very long time. Looking back, it wasn’t just the beginning of a new career. It was the beginning of a new version of me.

Before you ask

Questions worth answering.

Can I really become a Pilates instructor completely online?
Yes — and hundreds of our graduates already have. What makes it work isn’t the videos; it’s the live parts. You meet your mentor one-on-one every week, you get coached in real time, and you teach real people in Practice Labs before you ever graduate. Our Mat and Mat + Reformer curricula are NPCP Verified — the same bar the in-person schools are measured against.
Will studios actually hire me?
Most U.S. studios don’t hire by brand name — they ask for “a recognized certification” and then a demo class. What gets you hired is walking into a room and teaching a clean, safe, well-sequenced session. That’s exactly what we train, which is why every student teaches live, to real bodies, long before they finish.
What if I’ve never taught before?
Perfect — that’s who this is built for. You don’t need teaching experience and you don’t need to be the most advanced person in the room. Some of our best graduates teach beautifully and still can’t do a full teaser. Teaching is a separate skill from performing, and it’s the one we train, step by step, with a mentor beside you.
What if I work full-time, or have young kids at home?
This is the question we get most. The Mat track is 100 hours — roughly an hour a day over about ninety days. The reformer tracks are considerably bigger (300 and 400 hours), so they take longer, or more hours a week, or both. Most students do a short weekday session and one longer block at the weekend — at 6am, at nap time, after bedtime. Your mentor maps a realistic timeline with you in your first session, before you commit to anything.
How much can Pilates instructors earn?
In the U.S., Pilates instructors typically earn $30–$50 an hour, with private clients at the higher end. What you make depends on where you teach, how much, and how good you get — but it’s real, flexible income you can build around your family rather than instead of it.
What if I don’t feel confident enough to teach?
That’s the exact fear this program is built around — and why we don’t just hand you videos. You practice teaching every week, get corrected in real time, and teach real bodies in Practice Labs long before you graduate. Confidence isn’t something you’re born with; it’s built rep by rep, with someone beside you. Most students are surprised by how ready they feel.
What if English isn’t my first language?
You’re in good company — our graduates span more than thirty countries, and plenty teach in a second language. You go at your own pace and can replay anything you need, and your mentor helps you find cueing that feels natural in your own voice. If you can hold a conversation in English, you can do this.
What if I fail my practical exam?
Then we keep working with you, at no extra cost, until you pass — that’s our guarantee, with no time limit. But it rarely comes to that, because you’re coached and assessed all the way through. Nothing on exam day is a surprise; you’ll have taught live, many times, before you get there.
Do I need a reformer at home?
For the Mat track, no — your kit covers everything. For the reformer tracks, you’ll need regular, reliable access to one: at home, or at a studio you can book for practice. Home reformers start well below what most people assume, though not every model is suitable for certification work. We confirm the minimum specification with you before you enrol, so you don’t buy the wrong thing.
What does “live” actually mean here?
Four things happen live with a real person: your weekly one-on-one mentor session, the live online coaching that runs through the second half of the course, live anatomy sessions every two months, and your Practice Labs. The rest of the curriculum is yours to work through whenever your day allows.
How is anatomy taught?
However suits you. You can work through the anatomy material at your own pace, or join our live anatomy sessions — held every two months — and ask your questions out loud. Plenty of students do both.
When does my student kit arrive?
It ships after you enrol and usually reaches you within about three weeks, depending on where you are. You don’t need it to begin — you start immediately with the curriculum and your mentor, and the kit arrives in time for the hands-on work.
How do the payment plans work?
You can spread the cost over up to 12 payments through Klarna or Afterpay at checkout. Their terms and eligibility are set by them, not us, and are shown before you confirm.
How many training hours is each track?
Mat is 100 hours, Reformer Only is 300 hours, and Mat + Reformer is 400 hours. Those hours cover your coursework, anatomy, observation, self-practice and live practice teaching — everything that counts toward your training, not just video time. The Mat and Mat + Reformer programs are NPCP Verified for the Mat (PMC) certification. Reformer Only awards a Go Pilates Academy certificate.
Do I need to do the exercises perfectly myself?
No. You need a working Pilates practice — you should be comfortable in a class. You don’t need to be the most flexible person in the room. Some of our best graduates teach beautifully and still can’t do a full teaser.
What if I fall behind?
You get more time, at no cost. The timeline is a structure, not a deadline you get punished for missing. Life happens — that’s what having a mentor is for.
Will studios in my area recognize this?
Our Mat and Mat + Reformer programs are NPCP Verified, and graduates of both are eligible to sit for the NPCP Mat (PMC) certification — the recognized U.S. credential. Reformer Only is a Go Pilates Academy certificate and does not carry NPCP eligibility on its own. In practice, most U.S. listings ask for “a recognized certification” and then a demo class: bring the certificate, teach the class.
I have a full-time job. Is this realistic?
Yes. What it takes depends on your track: Mat is 100 hours, Reformer Only is 300 and Mat + Reformer is 400 — and those hours include your practice, observation and live teaching, not just study time. Mat is comfortably an hour a day over about ninety days. The reformer tracks need more, so students either give them more hours a week or spread them over more months. Your mentor builds a realistic plan with you in your first session, around your actual life.
I’m not in the United States. Can I still enrol?
Yes — we have graduates in more than thirty countries. Your mentor sessions are scheduled around your timezone, and your kit ships internationally.
Is there anything else to buy?
No. Mentorship, live sessions, Practice Labs, your workbook and your kit are all included. There are no module fees, no separate manual purchase and no upsells. The price you see is the price.
Why are places limited?
Because every student gets a mentor, and a mentor can only hold a small number of active students at a time without the quality dropping. That’s the whole model. When a cohort fills, the next opening is the following Monday.
When do I start?
