Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training.
450 hours. The full studio floor, and the route to the NCPT.
Mat, reformer, Wunda chair, Cadillac and barrels — plus the programming to move a client across all of them. The only certification we offer that makes you eligible to sit the NCPT examination.
About the credential: Comprehensive makes you eligible to sit the NPCP examination for the NCPT — the National Certified Pilates Teacher credential. Our other certifications lead to the NPCP Mat exam (PMC) or a Go Pilates Academy certificate. Compare all four.

The curriculum is taught by a Go Pilates Academy instructor. Everything below is identical in both formats — only the location of the hands-on work changes.

Structured practice assignments per module, with a practice log and periodic video check-ins. Apparatus access required.

You teach real bodies and log every session. We guide you through how to arrange it.
Practice teaching — mentor observing liveOne-to-one25 hrs
Your mentor watches you teach in real time and debriefs with you afterwards. One-to-one, live — the part of the programme that turns knowledge into a teacher.
Mentor sessions — you as the studentSmall group18 hrs
You receive instruction from a GPA mentor and perform the exercises yourself, one-to-one or in a small group.
Assessment — written and practical7 hrs
Written theory examination and a live practical teaching assessment against weighted criteria. Proctored, live or live online.
Every hour is documented. Observation analyses, practice logs and video check-ins are submitted as you go, so nothing has to be reconstructed at the end — which matters more here than anywhere, because this is the record behind your NCPT application.

Pedal mechanism and spring levels — seated, standing, prone and advanced.
Cadillac / trapeze table
Spring bar and roll-down bar, supine through advanced.
Barrels
Ladder barrel and spine corrector — scoliosis and back applications.
Multi-apparatus programming
Moving one client across the whole floor with intention.

Complete the instruction hours

Twenty-five hours in which your mentor observes you teaching live, one-to-one, and debriefs with you afterwards.
Pass both examinations
A proctored written paper and a live practical teaching assessment scored against weighted criteria.
And then, if you choose: the NCPT
Graduating from Comprehensive makes you eligible to sit the NPCP examination for the National Certified Pilates Teacher credential. The NCPT is awarded by NPCP on passing their exam, not by us — our programme is your pathway to sit it, and we verify your training when you apply.
Nothing here is an add-on.
Personal 1-on-1 mentoring
Thirty-two hours one-to-one across the programme, with a mentor who knows your name and your progress.
Group Practice Lab
You teach in front of others and watch them teach. The rehearsal room for your practical exam.
Functional anatomy included
Twenty hours, taught live and recorded for life. Many schools bill anatomy separately at $250–$980.
