Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about becoming a certified Pilates instructor

About Our Courses

What courses do you offer?

We offer three certification programs: Mat Pilates Teacher Training (220 hours), Mat + Reformer Teacher Training (350 hours), and Comprehensive Teacher Training (450 hours). Each program is NPCP & PAA recognized and includes 1-on-1 mentorship.

The biggest difference is that you're NEVER alone. While you watch video lessons at your own pace, all practice, feedback, and teaching hours happen with our mentors by your side. 1-on-1 mentorship is INCLUDED in every course – it's not an extra fee. This is what sets us apart from typical 'watch and learn' online courses.

Yes! All our certifications are recognized by NPCP (National Pilates Certification Program) and PAA (Pilates Alliance Australasia). You can teach anywhere in the world with confidence.

If you're new to teaching, we recommend starting with Mat Pilates. It's a great foundation and you can always upgrade later. If you already have equipment access and want more career opportunities, Mat + Reformer is a great choice. Comprehensive is ideal for those who want the full expertise and have access to all apparatus.

How It Works

How does the hybrid learning model work?

It's simple: You watch professional video lessons on your own time – pause, rewind, rewatch as much as you need. Then you book 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with our instructors to practice teaching, get feedback, and ask questions. The only thing you do alone is watch the videos. Everything else happens with support.

There are no deadlines! Some students finish in 1 month, others take 6-12 months. You set the pace based on your life. We understand that you're busy – that's exactly why we designed it this way.

You can ask questions during your 1-on-1 mentorship sessions, message our team anytime, or email us at [email protected]. We don't leave anyone behind – that's our promise.

YES! This is the most common question we get because most online courses charge extra for personal support. With us, 1-on-1 mentorship is INCLUDED in every course. No hidden fees, no surprises.

Requirements & Equipment

Do I need previous Pilates experience?

We recommend practicing Pilates for at least 6-12 months before starting. You don't need to be advanced, but familiarity with basic exercises helps you learn faster.

For Mat: A Pilates mat and basic props (resistance bands, small ball, magic circle). For Mat + Reformer: All of the above plus access to a Reformer. For Comprehensive: Access to Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. You don't need to OWN the equipment – studio access works too!

You need ACCESS to a Reformer, but it doesn't have to be your own. Many students rent studio time, use gym equipment, or find local studios that allow practice. Contact us if you need help finding options in your area!

After Graduation

What can I do after I graduate?

You'll be qualified to teach Pilates professionally! Options include: teaching at studios, gyms, or fitness centers; offering private sessions; teaching online; starting your own business; or combining Pilates with other wellness services.

It varies by location and experience. Mat instructors typically earn $25-50 per class. Reformer instructors often earn 30-50% more. Private sessions can range from $60-150+ per hour. Many instructors build full-time careers or use it as rewarding side income.

Absolutely! Many students start with Mat and later upgrade to Mat + Reformer or Comprehensive. We offer special pricing for graduates who want to continue their education.

Yes! All graduates get FREE membership to Go Pilates Club – our instructor community with weekly tips, app discounts, course discounts, and ongoing support. You're part of our family forever.
